Our Story

Tractor WRX is part of the Chadron Motor Company family of businesses, a family-owned operation with roots dating back to 1992.
What began as a single dealership under the leadership of Ward Wasserburger eventually grew into one of the region's most respected dealership groups. Over the years, Chadron Motor Company expanded to include automotive, powersports, construction equipment, and agricultural equipment divisions, all built around a common philosophy: taking care of customers the right way.

In 2019, Tractor WRX opened its Rapid City location to better serve customers throughout the Black Hills and western South Dakota. Since then, we've continued to provide the same small-town values and customer-focused approach that have defined the Chadron Motor Company family for more than three decades.
Today, under the leadership of the Wasserburger family, we're proud to help customers throughout the region work smarter, maintain their land more efficiently, and get more done with dependable equipment.
